Brooklyn, 3 months...

Another month gone by too quickly!! Brooklyn turned 3 months old this past weekend (07.08.06), and I have no idea where all the time has gone. Brooklyn just finished her first major road trip --- from Worthington to Baton Rouge --- over 16 hours in a single day! Despite her absolute hatred of her car seat and riding in the car, she was a trooper.

She finally got to meet her Auntie Lisa and Auntie Cayenne (that's Karen!), her other grandparents (who happened to be in BTR even though they live in Colorado Springs), and her great-grandmother. At her daddy's request, we drove to Texarkana and stayed the night on our way down to Natchitoches so she could also have her first (alhough very brief) visit to Texas. Brian even made me book a hotel on the Texas side of the city just so they could all say they slept in Texas rather than in Arkansas... those Texans!! Oh well, it was a great place to live if you could somehow get rid of all that traffic!

Check out those blue eyes... only one in the Sanders for three generations to have blue eyes... gets them from her daddy!
